Ok, my daughter has been ill on and off since March mostly with fever and diarrohea. She has been to doctors umpteen times and has recently been referred to hospital. No-one knows what is causing the illness, but the hospital suspects a urine infection (because they have tested everything else).

The hospital want a "fresh catch urine sample" from her - meaning they want us to catch the pee. But this is proving almost impossible - she sneaks off to pee - when you do catch her peeing and place the cup between her legs she stops immediately so that there isnt enough sample to use. We have to use a particular sterile cup to catch the pee, but nothing is allowed to touch the inside of the cup except her pee, which is difficualt if you have to grab it in a hurry to catch her peeing!!

I am at the end of my tether - we are not allowed to use the sample we took using a pee bag (inserted under the nappy) because they felt the sample would be contiminated. Anyone been thru this? Help

Besides the civil war and war of independence, all other wars I can think of she has been an allie, such as in the World Wars. It seems that wars she has promoted such as vietnam, Afganistan and Iraq wars are unwinable. So America doesn't appear to have a good track record, so to speak, winning wars.

I’ve been a damn good friend to her, if I say so myself. I’m her only friend. She’s very interested in my life and current affairs, and asks the usual sort of weekly things, etc. However, when it’s my time to ask her how life is, etc, she clams up! For example, I ask her if she’s going to be working this Saturday and she’ll say, “We’ll see”. Also, once, she asked me what time I leave for work and naturally I told her. When I asked what time she leaves she said, “When I’m ready”. She went on holiday a few years ago, near the same place where I’m going next month, and I couldn’t remember where she went exactly and just wanted some holiday tips, etc. When I asked her if it was Cornwall, she said “No”. When I asked her if it was Somerset or Devon she replied, “No”. When I did ask her whereabouts it was, she said, “In between the three of those”. Am I mad to continue with her or is she the mad one?

I am white my boyfriend is black, id liketo choose a name for our baby that will fit both of our races. you know instead of having a "white" name like Elizabeth, Jane, Samuel and Jason, or a "black" name like Kobe, Keisha, Kadijah and Latisha, I'd like a name that sounds like it could be of both black or white origins. Any Ideas? Boy or girl, not sure of the sex yet.

most african-american Marines who been in for 3 or more years busted down to private for some reason or another and to top it off, not getting paid for months at a time. we bought them personal hygiene items and also treated them for a nice time in town. and by the way, these busted down privates ran our radio section! they were the experts! on the other hand, i seen caucasian Marines make Sergeant in a year or less in our same unit. i wont say that this unit is a reflection of the Marine Corps as a whole but i do know, from my experience, an african-american person normally needs to kiss alot of a s s in order to reach sergeant and up. the Marine Corps is the only branch of the service that uses points, what they call a "cutting score" which in itself very elusive in order to get promoted.my question is for higher ranking Marines, why do u give african-american Marines a harder time to move up the ranks than a caucasian equivolent? and why so many have Article 15's?

I was wrongfully fired from my last employer. we had a conflict over wages and overtime that they said they didn't have to pay me for but when I called the wage dept (after several request for them to pay me the 400. they ripped me off) they were in the wrong. a few months later they were ordered to pay all the employees that they had ripped off in the past 2 years. My check for back wages was dated for the 26th and i was fired on the 27th. They knew they couldn't fire me legally for calling the wage dept so they made up a reason (gossiping). They could not say that I was not doing my job or anything in the wrong. The thing is I have proof that i was not around (home on medical leave) when the so called gossiping had taken place.
