I am white my boyfriend is black, id liketo choose a name for our baby that will fit both of our races. you know instead of having a "white" name like Elizabeth, Jane, Samuel and Jason, or a "black" name like Kobe, Keisha, Kadijah and Latisha, I'd like a name that sounds like it could be of both black or white origins. Any Ideas? Boy or girl, not sure of the sex yet.

I am not an idiot. i am just trying to find a name for my baby that will have both of her/his race origins in it. I am not racist thankyou very much, otherwise I wouldn't be having a black child...you morons. And no... I am not 17 I am 18 and i dont give a flying sh** what you think about my age, I am bringing a beautiful child into the world, and I am proud to be it's mother. Stop being judgemental pricks!

I have been reading some of the answers to your question and it amazes me how rude people can be. If they cared about your age or why you want the kind of name that you do the why even bother answering the question!? Seriosuly I am all about people giving their opinions but the S H I T they are writing on here is rediculous...
Anyways, I know where you are coming from. I am Puerto Rican and my boyfriend is white. If God ever blesses us with a child then we want to give him or her a name that both of our families can relate to and pronounce! lol
I suggest going for something classic. Something that is just beautiful and can be identified with by both of your cultures. How about...
Boys
Noah
Spencer
Jacob
Jackson (love this one!)
Jaydon
Nathan
Michael
James
Kaleb
Joshua
Xavier
Ryan
Chase
Avery
Brendan
Brennan
Girls
Kylie
Alia
Alina
Kai (beautiful Hawaiin name)
Kaylin
Olivia
Isabel
Grace (perfect for a midlle name)
Mariah
Naomi
Alexi (Alexandra or Lexi too)
Jeannette
Amber
Mackenzy
Makayla
Jasmine
Well I hope all of these helped. If I think of any more I will add them below. I wish you only the best!
Good Luck & Congrats!!! ;-)

I hate to say this but no matter what you think or feel about having a mixed baby, Everywhere you go for the rest of your life you will be met with the stares and other things from a closed minded world.
The name should be something you and the father love.
I live with the same world when I tell people I am a toppless dancer. The Sleazy Stripper Image shows in everyones eyes no matter how classy I am.
Good luck

First of all CONGRATS! Second of all don't listen to those dumb butts telling you that you are racist. I am Hispanic and don't have mixed kids in my family, I wish I did though, and I totally understand your point of view. and am glad that you are standing up for your baby since you are only 18. I know you will do a great job raising this baby. Well the following are pretty names that I like and that I think will fit both heritages.
Girl:
Danielle
Natalie
Camille
Courtney
Amy
Boys:
Kyle
William
Brandon
Adrian
Jacob

Names do not matter on race, what matters is what you and your husband like. For a girl I suggest the name India or Lydia because of the fresh sound, and for a boy I suggest Leo or Dominic.

I have a mixed niece and nephew, but I don't think my sister cared about the name fitting into either race. She named my nephew Eric and my niece Lynsi.
Eden, Whitney, Jasmine, Mikhail, Rhyan and Desmond. These names are of some people that I know and they are mixed and their names seem to fit them if you ask me.
Good luck
