Did you know that today is Jackie Robinson Day ?

For those of you from around the world that may not know, Jackie Robinson was the first Black American to play in the Major Leagues of our professional baseball. He broke the color barrier in 1947 when he started playing for the Brooklyn Dodgers. Today the Major Leagues are honoring him. I think that is very cool.

What do you think of our fast food choices?

I'm not happy with mine. The closest town has Sonic, Dairy Queen, and Subway. The next town has Taco bell and McDonalds. What happened to Hardee's? Why can't we have a Fazoli's around here? What do you think?

Home Remedies?

Okay so my 4 year old daughter is very sick. First we brought her into the doctor and he said she has the flu. About 2 days later i noticed a rash on her ,he said she has the chicken pox and the flu. Now she doesn't usually have me change her because she dresses herself but i changed her since she was sick and i noticed a vaginial discharge. I took her back to the doctor and this is what she has: flu, measles, vaginitis. Please if you have ways to treat these or home remedies let me know. Thanks for all who answer and i'm sure my daughter thanks you too.

Adults that returned to school....?

How long did it take you? I was in and out for a while and then really buckled down for a year--but only able to go part time, then I've had to sit out this whole year because of financial aid issues. So...I'll start back in August but just barely a sophmore! I'm getting a little discouraged! So, can you share your story and tell me how much it was worth it even though it took longer than a traditional student....lie if you have to HAHA (JK)! :) Thanks!

very low income?

My income is half from Social Security and half from the Department of Labor. Department of Labor is TAX FREE, and that make my Social Security under $15,000 a year, when I went to the Tax Prepairor, she told me my income was so low that I did not need to file Federal Tax. Was I told right and if not, how can I correct this problem without going to jail.
