Is India a third world country...I meet a few people and they say that they dont even have food to eat?? why do they say so???

yes.. its a third world country because it got its independence after the second world war - hence third world.
there are bums every where, why point just india?

Yes, I suppose India would be described as a third world country like a lot of the countries in Asia. It is also true that some of the people don't have enough to eat.

Yes, India is a third world country. The reason that there are so many Indians in the West is that they see education as a way out of poverty.

India is a third world country along with many other South Asian countries...
But they are developing!!!
India's has the fastest growth after China... n hopefully, all d other countries will achieve dat quickly!!!

Yeah, its true... many don't hav much to eat... not evn a meal for some days, I hear... Sad, but true.
(They are lovely countries... lovely cultures ;))

In the poorer parts i think that it is,But it is a beautiful country and the people are so friendly..
