I am not going to lie. I am lazy and we have a take home test in my calc class and I need to solve these problems:

1. A closed rectangular box with a square base is to be contructed using two different types of wood. The top is made of wood costing $3 per square foot and the remainder is made of wood costing $1 per square food. suppose that $48 is available to spend. Find the dimensions of the box of greatest volume that can be constructed.

2. A small orchard yields 25 bushels of fruit per tree when planted with 40 trees. Because of the overcrowding the yield per tree is reduced by 1/2 bushel for each additional tree that is planted. How many trees should be planted in order to maximize the total yiled of the orchard.

3. A poster is to have an area of 125 square inches. The material is to be surrounded by a margin of 3 inches at the top and 2 at the bottom and sides. Find the dimensions of the poster that maximizes the area of the printed material.

Thank you for the help!

So, why do so many of you say the Bible speaks directly to it? Again, it was someone's interpretation of the scriptures...someone's interpretation, of tradition, customs, and beliefs...someone's interpretation of dialogue and words...

For example, I want to buy a camera. I look at a few and can't decide which one to get out of 3. They are pretty cheap and have the same abilities and specs.

On site A, which is very mainstream and made of a team of people who review products all the time, they give camera 1 a good review compared to the others, saying it has only a few flaws which depend on the user's preferences. Then there's camera 2. They give it a very poor review, saying it has bad red-eye, a slow startup, etc.
And site A also has a user feedback section for each product they list. Even though there are a few people who like it, the comments on camera 1 are very negative, saying basically the same things as site A did about camera 2. And they give camera 2 extremely good ratings.
Then there's also camera 3. It has an average review from both sides.
So my question/poll is this. Which camera would you buy? The one rated good by the site but not by users, the opposite of that, or the one in the middle?

Please explain to me!

1. Three numbers form an arithmetic sequence with a common difference of 4. If the first number is increased by 2, the second number by 3, and the third number by 5, the resulting numbers form a geometric sequence. Find the numbers.

2. 3^2x+1 = 5^3x-1 Solve for x.

3. In a triangle, find c if a=3, b=2 and gamma = 30 degrees.
(a is opposite angle alplha, b opposite angle beta, c opposite gamma)

Thanks a whole bunch!

I am more interested to learn whether the mind is connected with the spirit and the body. I do believe that body is only the garment for the mind and the spirit. What is the difference between mind and spirit. What defines one as "i am"> Is it the mind or the spirit or both, perhaps? What is spirit?
