If you employed from age 16-18 years old teens, do you benefit? Why or why not?

The teens benefit by learning work ethic and a sense of accomplishment earning their own money.

Employment teaches responsibility and a good work ethic. If you show up on time and you do a job well, you get paid. If you go beyond what's expected, you get promotions and/or bonuses. It teaches about life in the real world, too.

Advantages...lower salary ranges to begin with, and no need to get rid of horrible past habits.
Disadvantages...lots of training in employee and company behavior and culture.
