Im really curious here...
Yesterday, Zach Johnson won the Master Tour. He, naturally, thanked Jesus "first and foremost" for his victory. Later, he was wise enough to name and thank about 10 people, including coaches and trainers, as well as sponsors and others...but again said that he thanks Jesus "most importantly" for his victory...
Fair enough. He was only an average player in high school, only received a scholarship to an average university, and only played average while in University.
But Im wondering here: Does Jesus play favorites? Surely there must have been other Christians playing on the tour - why didnt Jesus allow them to win? Does Zack have more faith, thus is more deserving? Also, since Jesus says that prayer and beleif can move mountains - why did Jesus only allow Zach to win by one measly stroke? Wouldnt Jesus allow him to win by some ridiculous score, like beating them by 10+ strokes, like Tiger has done in the past - without Jesus??
Just curious...
