why do you refuse to see simple logic?
you believe in the bible simply because it is old. that does not make sense.

i understand the desire for revenge against those who have offended you, but be intellectually honest. For someone that wears logic so proudly on their sleeve, how can you assume that we only believe the bible because it is old? Are you trying to be ignorant to make a statement?

No christian simply believes in the Bible because it is old. You obviously do not understand the basis of Christianity. Why don't you pick up the Bible and find out exactly what it says? If nothing else you will at least be more informed in trying to argue against Christianity.

Oh Monkey Lover, well, you think Christians are stupid for believing in something that was protected with hope, love, and encouragement for thousands of years. Something that gives us hope and strength to continue on. You see, I'm a honors college student who happens to study Biology Pre-Medicine. I heard all those evolution theories, but still does not convince me. Please understand that Evolution is just only a simple THEORY. If you don't understand that I suggest that you should stop offending.

That's not the reason, at all. Why do you have to be so antagonistic? What difference does it make to you what a fundamentalist believes or does not believe?
There's an issue of faith here, which you have plenty of, it's just you put your faith somewhere else. At least they are willing to admit their faith, rather than to deny it.

wrong answer, cujo. i CHOOSE to believe the Bible is the Holy Word of God, not because it is old. Egyptian hyroglyphics are just as old if not older, and tell stories of their beliefs, but i do not choose to believe that is the way, the truth and the life.

(personally dont believe in it.. but...) not that its just old.. but its tradition... millions of people believe in it over hundreds of years.
