I've no doubt some girls do collapse without a man. They'll be the ones that aren't happy unless they're in a relationship. I personally am fine without a man in my life. I've been on my own with my son for nearly three years and do just fine. Won't deny i get lonely and miss the love sometimes but hey you can be in a relationship and still feel lonely and unloved at times.

I can live without a man. I was divorced and looked after 3 boys for long enough single handedly, bought my own car, got my own place. I know I did get married again, but i can live without a man, Sometimes it's good to be independant, and my husband knows that is the way i feel, as was on my own for quite a time.

I have never collapsed when there idon't have a guy around!!! The only time i have collapsed was due to a perferated eardrum which by the way i have known guys to collapse at also. But there are the few who will collapse for no reason at all so don't brush us all under the same rug :@ We aren't all the same

They probably started dating when they were far too young, like 11-13 and never really had a chance to develope an indentity that didn't include "someone's girlfriend."

I don't know what type of girls you know but the ones I know don't need any man in their life and are quite happy - you can't spell so maybe you are young and naive
