I bought a few organic avocados at the market the other day, and I planted 3 of them, 2 using the toothpick technique and 1 directly in a BIG pot.
However, all have cracked, but its been about 5 weeks and I haven't seen any roots or growth occurring!
Could I have gotten bad avocados?

Clarification -
People say the pointy end goes up, but both ends have a point, one is a tapering of the avocado seed, while the other end has a small little toothpick type point coming out... which end goes up? If you were to look at the whole avocado, the end which I put up would be the smaller end where the avocado attaches to the branch.
I hope that made sense :)

i was completely set up into helping a so-called friend cash his check unknowingly that it was fake. i was arrested at the scene. now i am charged with a forgery felony charge. i am in desperate need of help! I have a PD defending me in court this upcoming friday and i will be contesting this case. but the thing is. the friend had the check in my name! i cannot believe i did not find it to be suspicious whatsoever. i am terribly scared.

My lawns suffer from weeds and brown patches where grass is not growing evenly. Can I get rid of the weeds without killing off the grass? There are so many different types of grass seeds on the market. Which would be best suited for the Kansas City area? They're not big lawns, front and back yard. I'm looking for an inexpensive but effective solution to their appearance.

Everywhere I go I see cell phones. Drivers tool down the road, cutting their turns while they are blabbing away on their cell phones. People yakkin' in the produce aisle of Wal-Mart and Blue-Tooth headsets everywhere.
I have a cell phone but I usually just leave it in my car and I rarely talk on it while I'm driving. For one thing, I drive a five-speed stick (it's a guy thing) and it's hard to shift gears and rachet-jaw on the phone at the same time.
Are you one of the people I see everywhere, cell phone glued to your ear and yak-yakkin away?
Admit it if you are. It may not be too late to find you a support group.

I am really really bad tempered.

A few months ago I purchased the Wrecking balm tattoo removal products. I have had no success!!!! AT ALL.... I do not want to cover up the tattoo i just want it GONE.( Besides going to the Dr. and having the laser removal ) is there anything that might help it fade? its about 3 yrs. old in black ink about 4 inches long 2 inches wide
