Black is fairly easy to remove by a competent laser person.

That is the best known method of removal with the best track record - check around. Saline removal seems to scar more than laser. You wasted your money with wrecking balm.

In a word... no. Sorry to be the voice of gloom, but if these products really did work then no-one would ever cough up the cash for repeated sessions of laser removal, because what would be the point?

Some people may suggest going out in the sun a lot as a way to 'fade' it, because sunlight isn't great for tattoos. This may have some effect, but it'll be more along the lines of making the tattoo you already don't like look worse, rather than actually making it disappear. And if you spend too much time in the sun you could be putting yourself at risk of skin cancer. So my advice would be not to try this; it won't remove your tattoo.

There are some other surgical options for tattoo removal, which vary in effectiveness. There are also some treatments starting to appear which involve tattooing various substances over the top to 'break down' the tattoo - I don't know whether these are effective or not.

Laser treatment is certainly very effective, although expensive. But there isn't any way of just removing it for yourself. If you want it gone, you need to go to the doctor, and I'm afraid you also need to be prepared to pay quite a lot of money to get rid of it.

Sorry not to be able to give you better news. Best wishes.

Fading with saline: By this technique, your tattoo artist will use a saline solution to fade your tattoo—a process that will prove very effective. It will be particularly effective if you have had your tattoo done long ago. You will be able to fade the tattoo with this method and quickly design another tattoo on the same spot.
