There is a cast iron pipe (gray) coming out of the ceiling. If I touch it with the white leg while the black leg of a light bulb is attached to the hot black wire the light will turn on. Then I disconnect everything and test the pipe with a voltage tester and it beeps as I touch the pipe so the voltage tester is accusing power on the pipe but I do not get a shock when I touch it. What is that?

Have a Biorb 4 gallon under air rock filtered tank with my betta in it. It's been running for a while but did a complete water change 6 days ago. Read in some answers that I should change water whenever ammonia or nitrite level goes above .25 when cycling a tank. What do you recommend? If I should change water, how much and should I vacuum?

The court system is just not fair. My soon to be ex-wife voluntarily quit her job to be a stay home mom (just pure laziness in my opinion). But thats ok with the court system. If the tables were turned and I quit my job to be a stay home dad while she was working, I guarantee I'd be forced to work. Why does the court system give women so much power? By her not working, I have to pay close to $700/mo in child support. If she was working, I'd pay $450. I won't even try to get custody because I hear it's extremely difficult and expensive for the man to get custody. This is why women act the way they do and be so vindictive; because they have the law on their side. Before I get the smart answers from you folks, her parents don't work and would have no problem watching the child. My parents would not mind watching them either. She's doing this to be vindictive!!!

i won a lawsuit when i sued a woman for hitting me while i crossed the street and was wondering how much money is going to be taken out. the settlement was 75,000 but i will end up with 30,00 after lawyer fees and hospital bills. how much taxes are gonna be taken out? i live in california.

I was cooking some hamburger and drained the excess fat off into a dish. I let it solidify so as not to let it get stuck going down the sink, i can just scoop and throw away. Anyway, my cat ate about half of it, does anyone know what that will do to my cat, or will it just pass through her

I posted this yesterday and got 0 correct answers.
I plugged the equations into Excel and found 2 empirical solutions:
n = 1.429611825
n = 8.613169459

So there are 2 roots, just like any n^2 + n + c = 0 equation.
But no one has been able to solve this mathmatically.
Best answer is waiting for you if you can show me.
I am looking for an answer I can plug into the calculator to get the exact answer of the 1.42 and 8.61 approximations that I already know.

i feel like i can see something happening in people lives or major events i am even guess tv subjects without seeing a preview for that show... i haved children from drowing becuase i had the feeling someone was underwater and i decied t go swimming on that day in that area to save them. am i physic of coinendence.... btw someone reading this is planning a trip with their child this weekend to a place named after a saint.... u r thinking about what transportaion to take fly do not drive... this is just a felling it could be wrong
