If you do what kind of pet is it?

I will admit I let my rottweiler sleep on the bed, my boyfriend hates it though!

Do you consider your pet to be part of the family?

I deffinately let my pets sleep on the bed. I have a pit bull and a chow, they are big, but they are lap dogs and I love them to death-- They are certainly part of our family and a day is not complete with out them... tell your man to sleep on the floor or in a kenel and see how he feels! Good Luck

Most people do consider pets to be part of the family. It personifies animals and ultimately people want everything to be like them.

Yes, cat sleeps on the bed. It does no harm, leaves cat hair, but nothing they'll cause the world to stop turning.

Some clean freaks hate it when animals get of the furniture, eat from the table, etc. But then why do they have a pet in the first place?

Tell your boyfriend to chill out.

I consider my pets part of the family, but I don't l let either (dog or cat) into my bedroom. By the way, letting pets in the bed with you is listed as one of the top ways people's sleep gets disrupted...

My cat is part of my family but my husband doesn't go for it. The cat is fine on the bed until hubby comes in. Then I must move her off the bed. It pains me to do this but what can you do? At least this way...we can keep both the hubby and the pet right? Just a small compromise.

I don't have a pet. When I did have a cat as a pet then he would sleep on my bed. It was a tabby cat I had and yes I would consider a cat as part of the family.

No, I let my family's dog sleep on my bed when it was a puppy and it woke me up every hour just to make sure that I was still paying attention to it. I do consider it a part of the family, it's just not allowed to sleep in my bed anymore.

My cat sleeps with me. And yes she is part of the family.
I also have a bird, the two pets are best friends.
I will tell you this, long after the boyfriend or girlfriend is gone, the pet will still love you. It also expects alot less from you, and it is always happy to see you when you come home.

I have an adorable Lhao Aphso. She is very loving (except for kids which she hates). But, I do not let her sleep in my bed or even get on it. She has her own bed. Besides all dogs scratch and move around a lot and that keeps me awake. I do let her sit in my recliner with me but not on any other furniture. She has her own pillow on the floor by my chair when I don't want her on my lap. (She is my granddoggie!)

Remember, those who sleep with dogs, wake up with fleas! (That's from a chinese saying!lol!)
