. . .that a representive of the universe (pretty bland and unoriginal if you ask me) offered me a deal. (Also unoriginal) That they were willing to give me, Pefect looks, wealth, fame ( if I wanted it),and health and all I had to do was give up the last 2 years of my life in trade.

Enough time for my left eyebrow to perk up passed and I gave them the finger and told them to kiss my @$$ and that if they were all that, then they would have known not to waste my time.

I woke up happy and feeling good about myself.

But when I told my buddy about it, ( my St. Paddy's day buddy) he said I was stupid. . . which is why they didn't offer it to him I'm thinking.

But I put it to you. Life is precious and WITHOUT price. Agree or Disagree? What would you have done?

Tell Matticus he WANTS to KNOW.

P.S. Not crazy. . .not today. =)

i have been living with this man for 1yr 1/2. i love him very much. but lately hes been having these rage fits that scare me. hes never raised a finger to me; but he gets extremely violent in other ways. i think maybe hes bipolar or something. either way i think maybe its time i move on. but when hes gotten into these moods hes threatened to stab himself and had a knife in his hand. i also know in the past he had some phsycological problems. i guess he literally was cutting some of his skin off. when we first got together nothing like this ever happend. but lately it seems to be happening alot more. im afraid of what hell do one of these times. not to me but to himself. i couldnt watch him hurt himself. ive asked him to go get help but he says it didnt work before so it wont now. i love him so very much i really do; but im scared. i think i should leave him; but how do i do that when i think hell do something to himself. i would be forever blaming myself. i just dont know what to do

Personal example: Black frats hand out flyers to 'black' only parties to ONLY black people on campus all the time, and you know if a white frat house handed out 'white only' flyers to just white people they'd be shut down before monday.

If we had WET(white entertainment television) we'd be racists.

Blacks are allowed in Miss America...but they still have Miss Black America, If we had Miss White America, we'd be racists

If we had an organization for only whites to "advance" our lives, we'd be racists.

If we had a college fund that only gave white students scholarships, you know we'd be racists.

my wife and I have been married for thirteen years now but it seems to be coming to an end now. I know I get frustrated a lot but there is so much about me that she still does not understand. I try to show her I love her but whenever we seem to be on the positive road, she starts taking me for granted. I try not to tell her cause in the past she has taken it too personal and then that leads to me just getting upset and blowing it out of proportion. I work real hard to try to give her and the kids a good life even though I know that this is taking me quicker to my grave ( I have three herniations in my lower lumbar area and one is so bad it has caused massive deterioration of the bone. Sometimes I can hardly move). Yet I still continue. I took an m.r.i. to show her that I was not faking. Its just so difficult to understand what else I can do to make her understand that I do care about her and the kids.

Matthew 7:1- Judge not, that ye be not judged.

Do ya'll read on to verse 2?

Matthew 7:2-For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
This doesnt mean not to judge people at all;but it's congruent with the teaching of faith without works.
James 2:18-Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
In matthew 7,when you read on to verse 2&beyond,you come to understand that it's saying not to judge people for doing or not doing something unless you yourself are willing to be held to that same standard.Like a preacher who teaches one thing,but in his own pratice does exactly the oppisite;if I'm not mistakin,those type people are called pharasies;not willing to do what they teach.So do people actually read&understand the words after "judge not"?Or do you just stop there¬ read on,in order to justify your position?

About 10 years ago when I was a kid I got in trouble with the law and received a PTI. At the time it was explained to me that the charges that I was "convicted" of would not show up on my record once the probation time was served, the restitution paid, and community service fulfilled. I completed all of those things. I am now in a financial position and just got a job that has told me that they require a background check. Is my PTI going to show up on my background check? Do I need to actually go and get it expunged or is that only when you are actually convicted for a charge? Please help. This could be very embarassing to me being that a friend unaware of my past has gotten me this job. Also, to get something expunged, I have read, takes 4 months. Which is about 3 months and 2 weeks to long..

Please help!!
