It used to be Christmas when I was younger because of all the presents but now as an adult, I don't have a favorite holiday, not really.
Easter can be fun, so can Halloween, if you make an effort to participate somehow...
I discovered Thanksgiving in someone else's house for the very first time four months ago; that was a lot of fun... and delicious too!
I guess it can be difficult to get into the spirit of things when you don't have a family of your own or when all your friends & relatives live overseas...

Christmas is the only holiday I put a lot of effort into celebrating. Have an annual Christmas Eve open house and family party.

I like Memorial Day because you don't have to go out and buy a bunch of gifts and you don't have to cook a giant dinner and then clean up the mess afterwards. In addition to all the pain-in-the-butt stuff you don't have to do on Memorial Day, you get the day off work and it's usually nice weather so you can just lay by the pool with a MaiTai in your hand :-)

Christmas. Because it reminds me of Jesus' birth and I love celebrating midnight Mas with the community as well as spend the Christmas with my family and exchange gifts. Just one magical day is enough to sweep me off my feet. That's when I can say, "I don't need a man to make me feel good!" ... haha!

and seeing my loves one open there presents its a joy.

My favourite holiday is Easter because I can color eggs, set up easter egg hunt, and have tons of fun with the kids. I know my inner child is only available at this holiday. :)

Thanksgiving because you get all the great "Christmas" food ie turkey but without the hassle of Christmas, putting up the tree, decorations and presents etc.

New Years, because it means I survived another year. Besides it's so much fun trying to remember to write the new date with a weeklong hangover.
