I have noticed that on some guitar tutorial recordings, the flicking sound of the pick hitting the strings is noticeable. Particularly when playing fast muted notes, this flicking sounds really cool, especially when the drummer is double bassing at the same tempo.

Does anyone know the best technique to capture that cool flicking sound when palm muting? Is it just a byproduct of placing the mircorphone too close to the guitarist (which I doubt because those mics are typically directional), a particular picking technique, or a particular style of pick (ie. a metal tip pick)

I mean, after awhile, I mean, really..... It's got to get old, giving credit for everything good in your life to someone else!

and to believe in something so unrealistic and impossible as the things Christianity claims to be true!

I mean, Jesus Himself could come back from the dead and scream at them to stop this silly religion and they wouldn't listen.

They'd just say, "I know that this is a demonic deception, so I'm not listening. I believe what the Bible says instead..."

or the Roman Catholic Church could confess to having made up the entire story and made up the scriptures, and Christians would say, "I will believe nomatter what!!"

This type of belief should not exist! Don't people see the harm on society done by people who advocate irrational faith?

Because when you remove the caps it is so much louder, but i dont know if it is illegal or not to drive without the caps on.

my toyota csi 1997. the power steering on my pride and joy only done 25,000ks.Yes true ks seems to go in and out of power really noticable on roundabouts but not only. car was brought and serviced regularly at toyota by previous owner.Idrove it during the first week he brought it and suggested he talk to dealer as I thought it didnt feel right?? he was reasured all was o.k. Ihave owned the car for the last 12months and Im now convinced along with two indepentant.... mechanics that there is a problem possibly a high spot on the steering shaft/anyone with a similar problem,its driving everyone mad!

I guess so. People everywhere say that I'm perfect. That I have the most perfect face, most perfect set of teeth they've ever seen, and most importantly, a sculpted physique like that of a god. I also have a breath so fresh, which all people love to catch a whiff on, and a body scent like that of perfume. So I'm just wondering if there's someone more handsome than me. And if there is, please let me see a photo of said person. Cause I honestly don't think it's possible.

Ok, i've liked this girl. i finally get the guts to ask her out in person and she said yes and we we;re both YAYAYAYYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY, 5 hours later after i call her she said that she wasn't ready, i was ok with understanding and she said we have a chance. Our culture has gone to Hell in a handbasket, and as a result, our prisons are bursting at the seems. I'd recommend executing all murderers, drug dealers, and child molesters. For non-violent offenders, I'd recommend lots of community service and fines (to put some money and resources back into the system). Your thoughts?

I am a big tomboy. I am Very Athletic, I play every sport under the moon. I also play some video games, Kind, if I figure it out. Why do I have all guys as friends. but the thing is that I have a daughter who is 4. Is it O.K. for me to avoid women with children?

My reason is that I was married to a woman with kids and am now divorced. I love her children dearly and did so immediately for whatever reason. However, I have not felt that way with other women's children and am thinking I should stick to women without kids.

Anyone else out there been in this predicament?
