you just grew your nails after a week they become sharper and after another weak they become weaker

like wise naturally their nails are sharper but the maintain length by rubbing to woods and stone not to sharpen but to maintain length if they grew long they will break they cannot catch or hold or hurt or even kill the prey with claws

they have a special tool that they keep under their tail, and when no one is looking , they will use it to sharpen their claws.

no, but truely they sharpen their claws like cats on barks of trees.

That's like asking why a fruit fly doesn't have claws for killing. Different species evolved in different ways. Each species got what they needed. Even w/o claws humans have managed to kill whatever the wanted to.
