Town A is 30 kms east of town B. "Jo" drives to A twice a week, and B once a week. Where is the best place to have a house built so that travelling time will be minimised?
Assuming that house can be built anywhere on the straight line between A and B, I need to devise a formula, differentiate and set to 0 so that I can find the optimum place to build. The problem is, my formulas either differentiate to a number value or involve "speed" which is unknown. I'm missing something somewhere and would appreciate any suggestions!
Once I've solved this, I then have to take into account two journeys to town C situated 50kms north of town B, so the house would be built somwhere in the right angled triangle ABC.

For example....leaving the lights on, leaving his empty red bull in the shower, opeing up a jar of sauce when there is already an open jar in the fridge, scraping his plate clean when he's done with it, not leaving cereal to harden in the sink....

We're married almost a year now & these little things are driving me crazy!!!! If I ask him to stop he thinks I'm nagging or trying to fight with him. I try to tell him we just need to be open and work on making each other happy and I try to encourage him to tell me the things that I do that drive him crazy, but he doesn't. Is there a nice way to get him to be a little more courteous around the house?

Just recently at 100,000 miles my rodeo starting making this loud ticking sound and i've noticed when in traffic. I've come up to other rodeo's that have that distinctive ticking coming some where in or around the engine. If anybody can help me narrow it down so maybe i can get the fixed. I have brown water stains on the ceiling in my kitchen caused by a leak around a vent stack on the roof. I have repaired the leak and now need to clean up the evidence before we sell the home. I really don't want to paint the whole ceiling as it goes into the breakfast nook and living room. I also don't want to deal witn trying to match the paint and do a touch up. I put straight bleach on it and it removed 70% of the stain. Any ideas will be appreciated. Thanks.

Im planning on moving to VA beach to go to college which has been my dream for years but my boyfriend of 1 year says that if he finds a good paying job up here in WV that he's not going to leave with me. I have one more year of high school left but he is just now getting out and is going to be looking for a job soon.
