I know there is an option to save to a VCR, but not sure about the other.

You can with a standalone DVD recorder. You could also via your computer if you have a video capture card. A direct digital to digital transfer would be quite difficult because you'd have to remove the hard drive from the Rogers PVR, put it in your computer and copy it over to your own hard drive. Even so, I believe it saves the file in some sort of proprietary format and you wouldn't be able to use it to watch the content on your computer, let alone burn it to DVD and be able to watch it that way. I'd stick with using the standalone DVD recorder hooked up with analog cables and it should work fine.
