I have long been a fan of PCs, but after all the viruses and updates and patches I've had to install over the years to my networked computers, I'm really getting tired of it all. A friend who is an avid MAC user, insists they don't get viruses like PCs do. Is this true??

I like this girl in my school that I find pretty hot but i dont know if she likes me back. Last year , I sat next to her in math and she would always poke me with her pencil and try to act funny. At my middle school graduation i was also next to her and 1 min. we were talking and like after 5 min. shes like, " i forgot u were here." wtf? This year we make eye contact in the hallways and sometimes talk but other than that i have no clue how she feels. What do you think??

I've never had this problem, but for the past few months i've off an on tried to figure it out on my own. I've tried everything from the windows main page, to windows help, even asking my friends, no one can help me. I've done audio tests and everything, but the sound recorder wont record, nothing. When i talk into the mic i can hear myself but the computer wont recognize the sound to record it. I've tried every plug in the computer and even changed all of my settings. No one can hear me in voice chats either. Please and thank you for any help you can give me.

I will be taking a 3 hour filght w/ a 2 year old and a 7 year old. I'm not too worried about the 7 year old. But what can I do to keep my 2 year old quiet and happy. She won't sleep anywhere but a bed. So sleeping is out. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have an 80ft metasequoia (I think) in my back garden. It is deciduous and the fine leaves are distributed around the garden during autumn. I have a vegetable patch which gets a lot of the drop from the tree. Does anybody know what effect, if any, the leaf fall might have on the acidity etc of the soil? I ask because I seem to be unable to grow onions, carrots but can grow potatoes and peas. I'm going to buy a soil tester, but any help would be appreciated.

Why do you supposed Cat Deeley sits as she does on the sofa whilst interviewing the contestants on American Idol?
Anyone can see she has good legs and if she were to sit facing the camera as she does, she'd show the world her womanhood. Then of course, it wouldn't be called American Idol anymore but some sort of a tease programme.
So why face the contestants with it. You could almost feel the embarrasment from the young lads.
Is this the right posture to take? Do you think she should just cross her legs and let them hang? I'd like to know what is she trying to portray or is this the director's responsibility?
And before you comment, I do watch the show not only for the talent but for the different attitudes displayed as well. ~~What do you all think?

I've had low self esteem my entire life. I've never learned how to feel good about myself on my own, it's like I constantly need someone affirming that I'm nice/ok/smart etc. It really bothers me, because it seems like people pick up on the fact that I have low self esteem right away and treat me accordingly. I don't have many friends...I've heard people say I'm difficult to approach but I don't even realize it at the time, so I don't know how to change it. What can I do?
