BRCA 1 & 2 and optional ovarian surgery?

I was diagnosed with breast cancer 3 years ago when I was 29 years old. I am ER+ and Her2 +. I had bilateral mastectomy, the right side as prevention. My dr wrote to my insurance company asking them to approve the BRCA tests. They turned me down. Twice. I have not had them done myself since they cost about $3000.
I am supposed to have my ovaries out next week, by my own request, but my onc told me this past week that he doesn't agree with my decision. I am currently in a study where my ovaries are shut down each month, for another 2+ years. He is worried about the long term effects of being in menopause at my age. I am worried about ovarian cancer as I am not sure if I have the BRCA mutation or not. If I have it, I have read that there is a 16-60% chance of getting ovarian cancer.
As a side note, I had an ovarian cyst rupture, which in itself is odd since less than 2% of women in menopause have ovarian cysts.

Has anyone else been in this situation? I don't know what to do.

When I get on top of my boyfriend I get tired almost immediately and he has to do all the "work".?

I'm about 20 lbs over weight and a little out of shape but I don't think that's the main problem. I think I just don't know what I'm doing sometimes. I'm 30 and have had 2 sexual partners. ANy suggestions? P.S. He always wants me on top.

Electric Vehicle question: What is the lead-acid batteries' cost-per-mile in a Battery Electric Car?

This is a question for people who own/owned electric vehicles. What make/model/size batteries did you have, and the total purchase cost, and how many miles did you get out of your batteries? If you divide your total purchase cost of the batteries by the miles, you'll get the Cost Per Mile for the battery pack.

David Butcher's Sparrow diary on the 'net states that he got about 7000 miles for his Optima battery pack.

In BC, Canada, Butcher's pack of 13 Optimas would cost C$4000, and Butcher's cost per mile would therefore be 56 cents per mile.

For comparison, one Ego-II electric scooter owner got 6570 miles with revived batteries, and the pack's replacement cost was C$190, for a Cost-Per-Mile of less than 3 cents.

I'm curious as to how much other electric car and scooter owners get, on a Cost-Per-Mile basis, out of their battery packs.

Nicest beer from asda/tesco/morrisons?

I quiet like my lagers, grown out of the fosters, carlsberg n all of them, got more of a taste for 'other' lagers like king cobra, duvel and leffe, anyone recommend any other nice lagers for me? cheers.

I want to share this injustice & hear your true opinions & reactions.?

In Sept.'05 I crossed a street in NYC at the corner , with the WALK sign, soberly & lawfully. a 19-yr old girl & her BF, both with revoked licenses,
ran me over as if I was not there. They hit me with super velocity. (50 mph in a 25 mph limit, I believe)
I crossed when light said WALK, & I saw no cars coming either direction. I blacked out and awoke in ICU of hospital, Broken legs,Broken pubic bones, spinal bones, & in the ICU, I had my first ever, MASSIVE heart attack, destroying 2/3 of my heart muscle. NYC district atty. said she can only charge girl with $50 misdemeanor ticket for driving without valid license. DA said since no witnesses, she had no case to make in court that driver was reckless, or at fault in any way. I suffered catastrophic injuries, & now have severe heart failure & edema all over & cannot walk freely anymore. DA claims since no proof driver did it intentionally, was drunk, or jumped red light, that she will NOT charge her w/felony. Give your reactions.

Do you, as a Christan, believe everything that the Bible says?

The Bible was passed down oraly for thousands of years before it was writen down, then changed and edited hundreds of times by different kings and translators.

If you do litteraly believe every little thing that the Bible says, then you must not eat pork, right?

If you do not believe believe every last detail of the Bible, it would be cool of you to support my point with some stuff in the Bible that sounds kinda out there and incled the verese(s)

I am a Christian but I do not take the Bible so litteraly as some of you do. Some of those things I just think God is too good to say.

Why are males so afraid of dependent women?

Will that be cause nowadays it is too difficult to fight the world and still have to protect someone else? Or maybe it is just cause an independent woman will mean "less hard work", "less things to worry about"? Or could it still be because women are giving themselves out completely without males having to get any involved at all? Or the feminist revolution has changed the world for ever and - period- ? Made a big mistake, when I left my husband I gave him custody of our kids. I want them back, what do I do?

When I left, I just wanted out....away from him. I was going to live with my parents and I was full time student not working. I decided it would be best for the kids to stay with hime because our son just started school. That was in june of 2005. Since then I have graduated form nursing school and bought my own house. We ahve tried to work togather on a schedule but he is very diffIcult. I have got lawyer and we are going back to court on the 21st of march. I really need some advice....my doesnt seem like she wants to guide me she just doing the paper work. I feel like its to late in the game to switch lawyers... but I need help!!!!
