Go further, compare religion to religion. You will learn that most mainstream ideas about the various religions are misconceptions, and there is again many consistencies to be found.
There is much literature about quantum physics (check out the "Down the Rabbit Hole" DVD's www. whatthebleep. com/).
The fun part is epistemology, it is rather esoteric, and banned by government.

Maurice Bucaille is a convert to Islam, you will not get lots scientific actuality from him.
