When I read it in 1984 it sounded like a science fiction book- cameras everywhere (cameras were huge contraptions) and thought police. Cameras cover much of most cities now- (traffic and {security} cameras everywhere) and phone tapping/email reading by Big Brother. Do kids today think those types of intrusion are scarry or just the way things are?

Does Jehovah view the life of a child as precious even during the very early stages of development after conception?

Ps. 139:13-16: “You [Jehovah] kept me screened off in the belly of my mother. . . . Your eyes saw even the embryo of me, and in your book all its parts were down in writing.”

Has God ever stated that a person would be called to account for injury to an unborn child?

Ex. 21:22, 23: “In case men should struggle with each other and they really hurt a pregnant woman and her children do come out but no fatal accident occurs, he is to have damages imposed upon him without fail according to what the owner of the woman may lay upon him; and he must give it through the justices. But if a fatal accident should occur, then you must give soul for soul.” (Some translations make it appear that in this law to Israel the crucial matter was what happened to the mother, not to the fetus. The original Hebrew text, however, refers to a fatal accident to either mother or child.)

How serious is the willful taking of a human life for a reason not authorized by God?

Gen. 9:6: “Anyone shedding man’s blood, by man will his own blood be shed, for in God’s image he made man.”

1 John 3:15: “No manslayer has everlasting life remaining in him.”

Ex. 20:13: “You must not murder.”

there is a product called "through the roof". it's a clear sealant available in trowel-on or caulk-gun formulas. this will stop and seal all roof leaks. the hardest part is finding the leak. just look in the general vicinity and then go to your roof and look for any damaged shingles or other roof components.

I currently have a 6 month old male rottie, and I want to get another pup. I'm looking for a breed that is excellent with kids, very laid back and mild mannered. The only breed I can think of is a lab.. But they aren't very laid back (most of them are pretty active). Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I had been dating my ex-boyfriend for about two months and felt as though I was emotionally abusing him because I have been going through the worst Med School time ever.

Well, I believed that the best thing was to let him be free and get out of my dark little world and although he LOVED me I felt that I wasn't worth his time. I am too stressed to keep up with the bridges of reltionships right now- so I decided to break up with him but unfortunately he started crying.

I had never seen cry before and I felt SO EVIL at that point but kept figuring that if I had to get back into this relationship it would be to make him happy and gain absolutely nothing but more stress.

I want to make him understand the situation better because I don't think he completely gets it or maybe show him in some way or another that I still care about him and that however... I can't be the PERFECT girlfriend right now.

WHAT SHOULD I DO?

I just found out my bunny (I inherited him 2 months ago) has very very bad, infected teeth. I love him, and don't want to put him in a bunch of pain unnecessarily just blindly following the vets advice. I'm torn between the invasive operation to remove the dead teeth, and the potential complications afterwards, and euthanizing him to save him the pain.

Has anyone had experience with rabbits with bad teeth? Have they recovered? How bad was your pets situation?

Thanks for any firsthand advice.
