This question is concerned with calculating the work required to stretch a spring.
A certain 'engineering' spring does not obey Hooke's law. Instead, the tension T in the spring when it is extended a distance x beyond its natural length is given by ;

T=sqrt(5x+11) - sqrt(11)

Find the work done in stretching the spring from x = 14 to x = 19

I have a finepix 900 camera and after taking 4 pictures it says that the card is full itis a 16 mb card.?

I have erased the pictures. But it is only allowing me to take 4 pictures before it says that it is full. Does anyone know what is going on with the camera or card.

Losing friends.....?

Can anyone else count their friends on 1 hand? It seems like the older I get, the less friends I have. I like to think of it as weeding out the bad and keeping the good, but there are times that I miss going out with a "group" of friends instead of a couple. Do you lose friends with age?

So both me and my wife are bi?

She and I also agreed to not have an open relationship but of late she as been making alot of comments that I should do g'ay p'orn for a living. Why does American Idol make the losers sing AFTER they told them they have already lost?

Isn't that rude-even evil? Let them go off the stage and cry they have already been crushed. Why make them sing? I like "AI" but they need to come up with a different way to get another hour worth of "AI".

Only be saved through Jesus?

I am not a Christian, but Religon does interest me. Now, If Christians Believe with can ONLY be Saved through Jesus. No matter what a good person you are, or good deeds that you do. You HAVE to believe and be saved through Jesus.
