In one of my classes we are making up a product. I came up with soundproof paint. You know so when you listen to loud music etc. you can't hear it if you are outside the room. I know this is creative but I can't come up with a creative name. Thanks for any help.

When i take my dog for a walk or round a car boot he constantly whines and it doesn't matter what i say or do he won't stop. He never used to do it but now he does every time i take him out and is getting really annoying to the point i don't want to bother. Any ideas

well ok i get my thick straight hair thinned.and when it gets thinned,the bottom part of my hair looks really thin and it doesnt look balanced.i want to get the bottom part permed so that it looks balanced but still thin-i mean more manageable.is it a good idea?

They look like embarrassing musicals. I noticed alot of people in Britain watch them, does that include English people who don't understand the language? Is it worth watching such mediocre films with subtitles.

The films don't seem to be about anything, there only seems to be one genre, no crime thrillers etc, just the standard romantic stuff.

Japanese/Chinese films on the other hand, even if you have to read subtitles are BRILLIANT. Enter the Dragon is coming on TCM!

In todays times it is even more important because of terrorism?
When is the society going to give these females equality?
Unlike during vietnam or world wars they are no longer matriarchs or the anchors of faimly.The modern female is independant and has a distinct disdain towards marrige and live in relationships so why isnt she asked to fight for the country instead of mouthing feminist clap trap and living on unearned?

American females should compare themselves to Russian women and their combat history in world war 2 ,What have you really done for this country ???except think about yourselves at the expense of others?

You dont even have the moral courage to embrace equality in its true form and then you rant and rave men are bad???

You justify every extreme that you go to by the fact women were suppressed well are you now?? whats your excuse for not leading by example?

Increasing the minimum wage will help the millions of poor workers
Media myth: U.S. workers are barely getting by, and it’s past time for a minimum wage increase after all these years.

A higher federal minimum wage seems like common sense to the media. They can’t seem to understand why anyone would be against it. Witness this classic exchange on the June 24 “In the Money”: CNN Host Jack Cafferty: “But why don't they want to raise the minimum wage? Where’s – what's the resistance to that idea?” CNN Contributor (and recently-promoted Fortune magazine managing editor) Andy Serwer: “Well, it's obviously coming from big business. They say it's inflationary, and it will cause layoffs. I think that's a lot of bull.”

That sounded a lot like the Democratic politicians talking. And New York Times reporter Edmund L. Andrews claimed “the Democratic argument is straightforward” on July 13. He repeated Democratic politicians’ linkage between private executives’ pay and minimum-wage workers’ – that it was unfair for CEOs to get raises when minimum-wage workers could not.

Truth: Where are the throngs of minimum-wage workers? USA Today’s July 24 editorial page claimed an increase “would benefit 15 million who earn the minimum or a little more.” The media have used them as the reason why the federal minimum should be increased – though the actual number is far smaller than they have led audiences to believe. According to data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), 1.9 million workers were reported with wages at or below the minimum in 2005.

In fact, the percentage of hourly paid workers at or below the minimum wage is at its lowest point since data were first collected in 1979. In 1980, 15.1 percent of those workers were minimum wage or below – compared to 2.5 percent in 2005. More than 20 states already mandate wages higher than the federal minimum.

Several economists have pointed out that the majority of workers move on from entry-level minimum wage positions relatively quickly. The BLS reported that “about half of workers earning $5.15 or less were under age 25, and about one-fourth of workers earning at or below the minimum wage were age 16-19.”


Studies from business groups such as the National Restaurant Association have shown that mandated wage hikes put pressure on businesses, many of which have to cut the number of jobs available.

How can I keep my house clean. I'm a stay at home mom and need some advice. I have a 3800 sq. ft two story house with a 2 year old daughter and a husband that grow up with a maid. It takes me about 9 long hours to actually get in the entire house really clean. I just can't keep it picked up. It gets so messy so fast. Please help!
