ok the girl above me is crazy! my god wtf is up with all the exclamation points?
anyway, i really dunno bout the talkin stuff
just wait for him to ask you a question, focuse on the music and whatever you do don't look around you, it makes him feel like you don't want to be there and you feel wierd and you need to see who's watchin like your embarassed to be with him, that's why its easier to slow dance close to someone, so you don't feel you have to look in his eyes the whole time.
well those are a few pointers
srry got nothin left pce! (good luck!)

Hi!!!

When one is dancing, one IS NOT SUPPOSED TO TALK!!!!

Whether is a Salsa, Hip-Hop, Reggae or slow dance, one is NOT supposed to talk!!! You leave the talking for when you are done, dancing!!!

Enjoy the music, the company, the rhythm, the dancing floor, the lights!!! Dancing is an art, and as an art it should be treated, with respect and enjoyment!!!

So please!!! Don't spend the time dancing, talking!!!! If you do you will missed the best steps from your partner!!!

GOOD BLESS YOU & HAPPY LIFE

A.Z.

The music is usually to loud to have a conversation.

Just look in his eyes...smile...and listen to the music. When the song is over, then go get soda, and you'll be ready to talk then.

P.S. A great after slow dance line is : "I never realized how nice (or cool, or hot, or whatever) that song was until just now..."

It's usually too loud to talk, so you just end up saying "What?" back and forth the entire time. But I know what you mean, sometimes its awkward. If you must talk, just compliment the other person (if you like them). a good compliment never hurt anyone...just try to keep it short. Or you can always make a joke about something going on in the room, if you feel like breaking the ice.

Slow dancing is not really for talking. I hate someone trying to talk to me while slow dancing unless it's just a short, sweet whispered something in my ear. Don't talk unless he asks you something, and don't worry about it. Just have fun.

Girl for one thing you do not know how to spell TALK !!!!!!!! And the second thing is all you have to talk about is your life, what do you want to be when you grow up and what you are doing next weekend. You can even ask him what he wants to talk about and if he says "i don't know" you can start asking questions to him that he can answer.

Personally, I would not talk AT ALL while slow dancing. I would take in the moment, especially if its your first time. If your young, then I wouldn't slow dance at all---your peers might think its well "slutty".

You don't have to talk, just enjoy the music.
