It sounds like you need to go to the mini sized tampons you can get. It doesnt have to be totally saturated however it is supposed to slide out without "roughing" at your insides. Dont leave them in for too long, I think no longer than 4 hours is recommended.

I had this problem when I first started using tampons and it is because you did not get it far enough up inside. When you get it positioned right, you cannot feel it. You need to change them at least 4 or 5 times a day and use a pad a night; to avoid toxic shock syndrome.

I use tampons and i use the tampax peals. They work for me. But my first time using tampons. I remember I was scared. My friend used them and I she helped me understand how to use them. I think I might have used it for like 10 min, than changed back to pads. Than I didnt like the way the pads felt. So I got a smaller tampon and It worked good. So maybe try a small one or a bigger one depends on your weight & how much you bleed.

Using tampons at first is different,, Use the tampons with the easy glide. It may be for awhile , that you need to use the pads, till you can adjust to the tampons.

Try one for light flow, or leave the regular in a bit longer - up to 8 hours is ok.
