6(1/2x) - 6(5/6x) = 6(6)

3x - x = 36

2x = 36

2x/2 = 36/2

x = 36/2

x = 18

then 5X/6 - X/2 = 6...
simple algebra from here...
multiply each term by 6 to clear fractions, and get...5X-3X=36 or 2X=36...
