I use a CHI on my hair every morning to straighten out my crazy waves, but it's taken a toll on my hair. I was wondering if anyone knows of any good products I could use on my hair to protect it from the heat and keep its smoothness and shininess. Please keep in mind that I'm a poor college student, so nothing too pricy!

I have an original photo of Henry Ford II and Frank Sinatra dining at the Stork Club in New York with documentation. There is another man in the photo, but only his right arm is shown and he is in a military uniform, don't know who it is. Is this of any value or should I just frame it and enjoy it? Documents do not include date but it is from the Publicity Department of Stork Club. Sherman Billingsley's Stork Club.

What exacly happens when you compress your disk space. I know it makes everything smaller allowing more memory to be stored but is that ok for everything I put on my computer? And is there a way to "undo" the compressing?

about 1.5 years ago we were driving along a residential street when the passenger window blew out(i was sitting in passenger seat hubby was driving) we aren't sure what happened but think a rock hit the window from a lawn mower accross the street. anyway all the windows were up in the van and when the window broke i felt enormous pressure on the side of my face. after that i have had sharp stabbing pains in my right ear. dr has checked for infection and glass or debris from the window and found none. sometimes it will hit me just out of the blue it is very painfull. it came to my attention today that it may have something to do with the baarmetric pressure. as we have had a major storm come in today and my ear hurts like crazy. i think i may try keeping a diary of when the pain hits and the weather conditions. but do you think that the barametric change is a probabl cause of my irratic stabbing ear pain? thanks michelle

If I enlist in the army they will pay me about $20,400 a year because I have a bach. degree and will start at a E-4. Don't tell me to try for officer because they have to select you.

If I don't join the army then I'll work at McDonald's for about $12,500 a year. The benefits are a little better because of all the food and McBucks. The army gives food too but the benefits at McDonald's is better. Also I should make manager and make $20,000 in just a few years because I just started.

My question is if your in my situation what would you choose? I'm only 21 years old.

I might be moving to Russia for work, and wanted to know if anyone had some tips about living there as an expat? I've visited there before, and have spent extended periods in most of the Central & Eastern European countries, but "living" is always different to "visiting" a city - particularly one so different. Any idea about costs and fun stuff to do would be a great help!

And if you believe in miracles please tell me why. And how do you know when it is a miracle or just the way something happened. A miracle to me is not someone surviving a car crash or surviving cancer, but something that cant happen unless there is divine intervention. Like raising from the dead or turning water into wine etc. It seems like now days anything "lucky" is defined as a miracle.

i woke up at around 4:00 AM and my whole body was tingling. like when your foot falls asleep, only my whole body felt this way. it felt as if somebody was holding me down against the bed. i also heard deep, almost gasping breaths from my right side (there is a wall there and above me - my bed is in a corner) about ten seconds after i woke up it stoped suddenly. like a flash of lightning. when your foot falls asleep you usually have to "rub" it out and it usually takes a couple of minutes. after it stoped i felt extremly *for lack of a better word* weird for about five min. i can not explain it any other way but "weird." i have never felt this way before. like i was covered in oil or somthing and couldnt get it off. my dog died and i have been depressed for about a month. i have read about certain sprirts that "feed" off negative energies. could i have been possesed, or haunted, or somthing. like i said, i never believed in this stuff before, but that experience makes me wonder...?
