CHI Straightener needs help!?

Question

I use a CHI on my hair every morning to straighten out my crazy waves, but it's taken a toll on my hair. I was wondering if anyone knows of any good products I could use on my hair to protect it from the heat and keep its smoothness and shininess. Please keep in mind that I'm a poor college student, so nothing too pricy!

I also use a CHI straightener! It is an awsome one, but without the right heat protection product(s) it will really damage your hair. I use the CHI infusion heat protection spray in a red bottle. Also I use a CHI silk infusion after straightening gel which gives your hair all the smoothness and shininess you need! It's awsome stuff and I really think you should buy this because it works!!

The healthiest amount of straightening is 3-4 times a week at most. Use hot oil treatments, deep conditioners, and use a slk product (Biosilk) when starightening. The silk smoothens it out and adds shine.

Hair is dead material to begin with. So damage to it will not "heal" Oil will restore luster until it is washed out. Use a good conditioner that will wax it to give it a shine. What you should do is enjoy yours curls and a healthy looking head of hair.

i use a similiar straightener it's called iso..it's pink and ceramic..i use joico hair serum and deep conditioner. The serum is like $20.00 but it keeps your hair from getting damaged. My hair is shiny and healthy (looking)..I have naturally dark brown hair...it's medium blonde...
