...i feel ''diffrent'' about this guy...but then agen i felt the same way about my ex aswell...i dumped him wen i found out i wos lying to myself! :( i realy love everything about this guy but dnt no if ill end up with the same situation as last tym...iv only been with this guy 5 weeks thats the thing ... i feel like iv nown him forever! im totaly myself around him and am not scared of bein me he makes me feel amazing!

I like this guy and want to ask him to go with me to the Military ball (I am in JROTC and he is not so I will have to buy the tickets to the ball) and my parents all ready said I can go to the ball and that I could ask him to go with. The thing is I don’t know if I the guts to ask him. I keep telling my self and friends that I can do it and that I am going to do it tomorrow (I need to buy the tickets first thing in the morning on Wednesday or I am out of luck on going) so I know if he will go with me to the ball or not on March 16. I wasn’t at all nerves till my mom told me I can go to the ball and ask him too.

I think the thing is I want him to say yes and not no. I am afraid of rejection. SO what I want to know is what do I do? I need to ask him tomorrow but I am kind of nerves. How do I not show that I am disappointed if he turns me down?

Why does the United States, a country with 770 military bases worldwide, feel so threatened by small countries such as Cuba and Venezuela, that we must embargo, sanction or sponsor coup d’etat’s to coerce these nations into a government of our choosing? Isn’t this really about getting a ‘resource’ cheaply as possible on the open market? ...Or in Cuba’s case…about strangling a Communist country for four decades? If Communism is such an abject failure, why do we have to help it along? Does any other country support an embargo on Cuba?…besides Israel? If we really cared about the Cuban people(as some of you will proclaim), why do we continue to punish them?
