If this plaque has hardedned (tartar) then you will need to go to a dentist to get a clean and polish! And then from then on you will need to brush your teeth at least twice a day and floss once a day. As for the yellowing there are a number of reasons why people's teeth go yellow. But I reckon that once you have a good clean at the dentist your teeth will appear whiter: I think it is the build up of plaque that makes your teeth appear yellower then they are.

Brush your teeth 2-3 times a day. It doesn't take long. And also floss once or twice. You might want to use mouthwash, too. You need to see your dentist and hygienist twice a year for cleanings. Otherwise you'll get a lot of plaque build up. You can buy tools similar to the ones a hygienist uses to clean your teeth at stores and pharmacies.

You need to brush your teeth twice a day, eat less sugary foods and use a mouth wash or agent afterwards. Brush your teeth resonably hard but in a circular motion so all the plaque brushes away. You'll soon realise the difference.

You DEFINETLY need to see a dentist because they have the BEST stuff for cleaning and you feel like not eating for HOURS after it's done - it's SOOOOO clean!! However, if you have no insurance - cut off or down on coffee, tea and cigarettes (probable causes of yellowing) and use Close-Up. It is the best for REALLY BURNING that plaque off of there. Good luck!

Go and see a hygienist to have the plaque cleaned off, try not to eat and drink things that will stain your teeth like red wine, coffee, curries, and you could see about getting them whitened but it will cost you between 250-450 pounds depending on which treatment you choose

I would start with mouthwash(scope), then brushing (colgate total). If they still look bad the dentist can do a cleaning and get rid of buildup along the gum line, etc. For the yellow a whitening kit from Walmart may help.

first of all people PLAQUE is not hard and very easy to remove with a toothbrush! simple enuf i know and belive me it duz work ive tried it. if u dnt start brushing your teeth u will then get tartar which is the hard brown stuf on ur teeth that only ur dntist can remove and if u dont get that taken off u could have the nicest most beutiful teeth (although seems as u dnt brush them i doubt it!) and you will still loose them as you will get gum disease which will destroy your bone and make all ur lovely teeth fall out!

I'd say go to the Dentist and get them to clean it, see if you have any holes in your teeth & whatnot.
After that, just take better care of your teeth. Brush a minimum of 2 times a day, and remember to floss!

If you can, get them cleaned and checked by a dentist. Plaque is really hard to get rid of by yourself.

Then get Crest Advanced Whitestrips (I think that's the name) and use them just as directed. They worked miracles on my teeth!

Go to the dentist for a quick fix. To do it yourself will take some time and will mean no sugary food or drink before bed and little in general. I'm going to assume you clean your teeth last thing at night and in the morining.
