Need Help 4 2morow?

Question

I like this guy and want to ask him to go with me to the Military ball (I am in JROTC and he is not so I will have to buy the tickets to the ball) and my parents all ready said I can go to the ball and that I could ask him to go with. The thing is I don’t know if I the guts to ask him. I keep telling my self and friends that I can do it and that I am going to do it tomorrow (I need to buy the tickets first thing in the morning on Wednesday or I am out of luck on going) so I know if he will go with me to the ball or not on March 16. I wasn’t at all nerves till my mom told me I can go to the ball and ask him too.

I think the thing is I want him to say yes and not no. I am afraid of rejection. SO what I want to know is what do I do? I need to ask him tomorrow but I am kind of nerves. How do I not show that I am disappointed if he turns me down?

think of it like this:
1)if you ask him he will either say yes then you go to the ball with him and if no then you'll just have to get over it
or

2)you don't ask him and you stay home thinking what could have happened if i asked him and later regret not having the guts to ask him

my advice: just do it because you don't want to think back on it and say"man it would of been nice if i asked him"

Hi,
Do you talk to him on the computer? I would send him an email or ask him on messenger, that way you dont have to be face to face. This way it gives him a few minutes to think about it. If he wants to he will say yes quickly but remember he's not in the JROTC and wont know anyone there so odds are he wouldnt be interested unless he realllllllllllly likes you and if that was the case he would have asked u to something anyways...
If I were you I would hang with friends but if your dead set on asking him try the internet...if you dont want to do it that way then are you planning on phoning him or face to face? This is the first of manyyyyyy times you will have to suck it up and do it. Just be sure you have a good vibe that the answer will be yes..and if its not then just say ok i just wanted to check no biggie and be on your way.

i know how you feel rejection is not a nice feeling. Maybe ask him to accompany you as a friend rather than a date. Then see what happens from there.
At the end of the day what have you got to lose he could say yes and if he does say no then its his loss.

If he turns you down, that is his loss. So just give him a call, and all he can say, is yes or no. Get it over with, if he can't, try someone else!
