Okay, I just do not EVEN know what do do here. My male betta (whom we just put in yesterday) has apparently eaten the left eye of one of the 5 neons that are in the 10 gallon tank with him. This happened at feeding time, about 10 minutes ago, when food pellets were sinking and the fish were doing that darting around eating thing, and we believe that perhaps it was not necessarily aggressive. We think this because he is not at all being aggressive toward Mr. One Eye or any of the other neons and is, in fact, in among them without any aggression. (My husband just walked in and said, "I think it was just a food mistake.")

My question is what to do about One Eye. Should we humanely euthanize him, or see if he recovers? (And, obviously, we should watch the betta's behavior to see if he continues aggressive or not).

I mean take this for example: A baby was born in the United Kingdom with two completely English parents and was raised there and grew up to develop an english accent, but what if the baby was born in the United Kingdom with the same parents but they moved to lets say Alabama because of a big job which would provide better for the family. Would the baby grow and have a southern accent or would he grow up to have an english accent? What do you think?

I recently bought my girlfriend a 9000$ necklace from tiffanys and she's really unappreciative. I'm 18 and really regret being so stupid cuz i worked REALLY hard to save up that kind of money. Yesterday I had to spank my son. Today he had some friends over to our house. My daughter and one of her friends started teasing him. Apparently they were saying stuff like show us your bottom, etc. He came to me almost in tears in embarrassment.

I decided to give my daughter a taste of her own medicine and give her a spanking in front of the rest. Because it was not in private I let her keep her pants on--but used the paddle to make sure the message connected.

I think this was fair. What say?
