Im in dire need of Psychology experts
Before the age of 13, I had a happy childhood, father present, parents married..then after that age, everything fell apart and my parents divorced, dad moves out permanently (havent seen him in years)...However my mother has played an extremely important role in my life. Now, Im 17 years old and Im currently staying with a host family in France...the family bonds are very stable, however its me who is having emotional difficulties concerning the dad in the family. I just cant' stand him and he is really doing nothing wrong! He is a decent guy, however when he tells me what to do, (like concerning chores) it just frustrates the heck out of me! And the mom, in my opinion, works much more than he does! She leaves for work; he is still there, he comes home from work before she does..and we all know about the french cuisine and the female dominance in that area, but he does nothing to aid her! Will I ever be able to live happily with a man?

I just got a cat from my Mom through my aunt whot had to get rid of her cat. My dog has a new play pal that he absolutely loves and they get along great. The problem is my cat is approximately 5 years old and is not declawed. I've read that declawing a cat (especially an adult cat) is not the most humane thing to do. Does anyone know any alternatives that I have? The cat is really scratching up some of my furniture and I'm at a crossroads as to whether to have her declawed or not.

It started with damp black marks on the inside of every exterior wall, and it was especially bad behind furniture. We were told it was condensation, so we put thermal boarding up, and added loads of extra air vents, but still the problem returns. We even fixed the roof, guttering and the external rendering, but nothing seems to work, can anyone have any suggestions, I am totally desperate?!?!

I know this might be sensitive but pls answer with cools heads. I don't really want your OPINIONS; so, can someone confirm the verses below:

1- Do you follow both the Old and the New Testaments?

Matthew. 5:17-19: "Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled."

2- Do you know male offspring should be circumcised?

Genesis 17:10-11: This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised. And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token of the covenant betwixt me and you. Both John the Baptist (Luke 1:59) and Jesus (Luke 2:21) were circumcised.

israelies found a Muslim prayer room next to Al-Aqsa Mosque in 2004,and they just announced it now!!!
why they r not truthful, and why they wana hide it all this time?
And why they r diging next to the holy ISLAMIC Mosque???
What if Muslim countries start to dig next to big churches, would the christians be happy!!!???
this is what both israeli& Muslim ppl r saying(from yahoo):

Activists for Palestinian rights in Jerusalem said the delayed publication of the archaeological find proved the Antiquities Authority has not been truthful.

"This coincides with the way they act," said Amos Gil of Ir Amim, an Israeli group that promotes coexistence in Jerusalem. "They don't want to find all the ruins, just the Jewish ones."

My boyfriend and I recently bought a basement flat in a building with two other flats above us. We're both smokers, but we don't smoke excessively - we don't smoke in the flat in the day time and smoke no more than 10 cigarettes between us in the evenings.
The problem is, our upstairs neighbour is complaining about smoke in his flat. Now this isn't even the neighbour directly above us - they haven't said a word. This guy lives two floors above us! He's generally a busybody and has complained when the people next door had a bbq in the summer. But he claims the smoke coming from our flat is so bad he's wheezing and feeling ill!
At first we were concerned. We bricked up our fireplace in case smoke was going up the chimney, bought a £200 air purifier to leave on over night to take the smoke from the air and we burn essential oils whenever we smoke to take the smell away.
But he's still complaining! We're worried we're going to get sued. Does anyone know where we stand legally?

I really want, and have wanted for some time, to be part of some sort of religion, to have a faith.
I've attended all the local churches and felt nothing but a fraid.
I've experienced various religions, attended ceremonies to observe and everything but I feel nothing.
Am I trying too hard?
Why is it that I feel I WANT a faith/religion when I just don't seem to be capable?
I'm very scientific and mathmatically minded - am I the wrong type of person to be religious? Do I need too much proof?
Maybe I should simply give up.
