How much would it cost for a bricklayer to build a 11.8m long by 1m high brick garden wall if i was supplying the bricks? I got quoted £1,370!!

If I were you I should get some other quotes.
You are supplying the materials so you are paying a labour rate of about £40/hr that's about 83K pa.
brickies may earn that much in London but not in the real world.

you don't say how thick the wall is ..i am going to assume it is 9 inch ....you will need about 1300 bricks ..if its single skin with pillars ..about 750 .. if the wall is straight .two brickies and a labourer will take two days .. but some could do it in a day expect to pay 750 plus

Don't forget the foundations and the concrete for them. I think it is an OK quote particularly if it includes VAT. It will take three days or so
