I worked P/T down to the hotel (3 mi.from my house), and also had a 8-5 F/T job. I was offered a F/T position in management at the hotel, and accepted. Only being at my F/T job for 3 months, I gave them 2 week notice. (that was last week). Wednesday, I had an unexpected need at the hotel being short handed, and called into my F/T job. I was told if I could not full fill my 2 week notice, I was done. I felt bad, but I had to do what I had to do. I still need to go there and get all of my office stuff, but am afraid to face everyone for letting them down. I know what I did was wrong, but in the long run, I had to take care of what was needed for my new F/T position at the hotel. How would you handle it? What would you say to anyone who gives me grief if I go to get my stuff?
