Chances are she is not pregnant, just slightly off this month. Periods can vary depending upon stress, if you're sick, anything. Maybe she miscalculated it too.

Relax, She's most likely not pregnant. If it concerns you so much you should be more careful. I don't know how old you are. I will assume you are old enough. You need this info anyway. If she isn't on birthcontrol and you refuse to use condoms (which you should be using for disease prevention anyway) There are spermicidal foams that are easy to use. They can also be used with a condom for extra protection. Please do not bring a baby into this world before you are both ready. A baby deserves the very best you can give it. Her early period may be a sign of stress or illness. If she continues to have very early periods she should see a doctor.

It it's a normal period (same blood flow) and she's only a few days early, she is most likely not pregnant. If she's two weeks early, and it's very light bleeding, it could be what's called "implantation bleeding" which is a sign of pregnancy. When it's 28 days past the start of her last period, have her take a test.

It could be normal if she hasn't developed regular periods yet. Usually when pregnant your period is early with light spotting or no period at all. Just to be on the safe side in the future, use a condom until you're ready to have a baby. She's probably young and fertile and accidents can happen. Good luck!

Well - I am going to give you different advice -
I got my period 9 days early in Jan. and thought it was a normal period. ( I am never early like that, if anything I am running late)This month I skipped it all together and am now pregnant.
Not sure if I was pregnant when I had my early period or not. Have not been to the Dr. yet.
All I know is we were not trying and actually using methods of preventing and I am pregnant. Be careful and hope she starts next month too.

No, dear! NOT having a period at all is a sign or pregnancy.
The fact that she got her period early means that she has irregular periods. That's all that it means. Except that, in the long run, it also means that using "natural family planning" methods for birth control might be less-effective on any woman who has irregular periods. And I don't recommend "natural family planning," anyway, except for married, religious couples who feel that they don't have other alternatives that fit in with their beliefs.
Protect yourself and your girlfriend by always using condoms. Also, encourage her to use birth control, too. Two birth control methods, when used together at the same time, are the most-effective means of sure-fire birth control.

well some women can have bleeding from the implantation, some describe to be simmular to a period. Some women can have a normal cycle, and because of colds or stress can iether be delayed 2 weeks or more, or have it arrive a week earlyer than predicted. I suggest you have her take a test 5-6 weeks after her last known regular period. And dont be scared, you where man enough to make the baby, you should be man enough to take care of the baby. Good luck.

I don't think it's a sign she is pregnant. I'm sure I can speak for every woman who has had a weird period once where it is early, or late, or shorter than they normally are. I know mine were weird (pregnant now though, but husband and I tried). Anyway, an early period doesn't mean she is pg, a very late one could though.

Having a period is generally a pretty big sign of not-pregnancy!
Women's cycles can vary a lot as to how regular they are, and various factors can interfere with them - like illness, stress, or even being around other women ( when several women live in close proximity to one another their menstrual cycles can end up synchronising!)
Having said that, this might be a good prompt to you to think about what precautions you're taking to avoid pregnancy and STIs. Best to be safe.
Hope this helps!

Every woman(even one with regular periods) can have an off month. Starting your period early is no reason to worry. If it was late then there might be something to worry about. Also you would not be worrying if you were using proper protection so maybe a condom and birth control pills are in order.

Red, flowing, slippery blood is a strong sign that she is NOT pregnant. Getting your period, full on, is one of the very best indicators that you are in the clear.
If, however, the "period" was just a few spots of pink or brown blood, or just a staining/streaky discharge, then it was not actually a period, and you may not be in the clear just yet.
Sorry to be graphic!
But next time, use contraceptives!!!
