I also think that nothing would be black because it wouldn't reflect light. Space is made up of nothing and it is black until you see the light from a star or something reflecting the light from one. So I guess in a way, nothing does exist, it is space. Or space is nothing so does it exist?

Colors are the refection of lights on things around you. With nothing exist, there would be no light, which means it would be in extreme dark. Therefore, the color of nothing is pure black as dark is the colors of things which light can not reflect on( that's why the outer space in the universe in black).

it depends what the nothing is written on, but from here, it is black on yellow.

(color is caused by light interacting with objects and your eyes, without object, there is no color. For all intents and purposes, nothing would appear to be the color of whatever it was in front of, but it would still have no color itself.)

It's black. There is always something though. The darkness is something, light is energy, it is something. You can see darkness, but only that it is black, and it consumes objects when there is no light.

The color of nothing, perhaps when you die.. One can only guess. Perhaps the color of nothing is the same as your memories, they are memories, but they are nothing. Maybe the color of nothing is a dream you have at night. The darkness is something, not nothing.

It pains me to believe that when I die I may not be able to think anymore. One of my biggest fears.

We can see the color when the light is present. If there is no light we can't see what the color is. So, When there is light we can see color of the objects-- those objects are made of--painted -etc., So if there is none --and if the light is present-then the answer is --transparant--and if ther is no light -- the answer is opague( dark-so to say block as we normally say the name for darkness

Black, since black is no color, so goes well with nothing.

Definitely black. It is a logical equivalence saying 'nothing' exists or 'nothing' does not exist. If nothing exists, e.g. empty space , empty of not only matter, empty of energy also, then it must be black; for any colour would signify some light, therefore some energy. Otherwise, if 'nothing' does not exist, it must have 'no colour' ; i.e., it must be black, = absence of any colour.

Nothing is absence therefor it should be black because darkness is the absence of light and does not have any existence of its own (see the beginning of Genesis ...)

white is the absense of color because white absorbs all light
black is the presence of all color because black reflects all light

This is why people in lattitudes far from the equator have lighter skin because there body craves sunlight

and why people near the equator are darkered skinned to reflect all light
