I really want to get a few, meaningful tattoos, atleast meaningful to myself. However, someone told me today that I will never get a serious job offer as a surgeon, and will never be trusted or taken seriously by my patients if I have tattoos. Is this true? Should I not get the tattoos.

I want to get my boyfriend a car for his birthday and i'm going to pay cash. I already have one in mind. I want it to be a surprise but i have to put it in his name. I know the dealership is going to want to see his drivers license but i want to buy the car and bring it to his house without him knowing. How can i do this? I don't want to put it in my name. I have understood that coriolis force causes an apparant deflection of motion due to the rotation of the earth. For the example of trade winds, wind blows from Egypt will be deflected and ends up somewhere near the west shore of africa instead of somewhere right below egypt. Using the same concept, westerlies wind blowing from the southern of usa should end up somewhere near the west shore of usa. But in fact, westerlies winds blow from south-west to north-east. Can anyone please please explain this? Thank you very much.

I have read all kinds of things on this site from 'Christians.' These people strut around as if they are the gift of God to the world. It seems to me that if you are going to follow someone, you would want to be just like that person. The very un-Christlike behavior I've seen here and in 'Christians' everywhere:
1) Finger-pointing and threatening
2) Acting like moral watchdogs
3) Ostracizing people who are already marginalized by society
4) Spewing hateful words ("God hates you if you don't _____")
5) Unbelievable pride in believing 'The Truth'
6) Closed-mindedness to anything that doesn't agree completely with what they believe
and
7) Acting like complete victims

I mean, really. If Christians really were in this very close relationship with God, I would think they would act a little more Godly.

Instead I see people strutting around, acting as if they have the authority to proclaim who is good and who is bad.
