Well, yes. When - I have no clue. Like the others that have answered before me...The Law of Averages says they can. It's only a matter of time.
I also agree that I think that the Seahawks had a GREAT chance to win last year. After the year that Alexander and Hasselbeck had, it was hard to believe they couldn't win.
I thought that Chicago had a good chance this year with their bar none defense and superb special teams skills. I also thought New Orleans had the spirit and ambition to win, but the talent just wasn't there yet.
The question of which team could win in the future...well that's a little harder. Some are making coaching changes, which will not make up for the ambition and talent on the team. Some are making changes all around which may take a little longer to take effect, but can have greater results. Then there are those suprise teams...those are the teams to watch.
I think the teams to watch over the next few months are: Arizona, NY Giants and New Orleans.
I think that New Orleans, can repeat their success of this year, if they improve their defense. Also, let's hope to see more of Terrance Copper and Marques Colston...they have sure made watching New Orleans exciting.
Arizona has all the a lot of tools and fairly successful coaches, the question is - are they going to get what they need in the draft and free agency market? I also wonder with all the changes taking place, are they going to be apply those changes in one season?
NY Giants are making all sorts of waves with changes, but is Plaxico ambitious enough? Does Eli have the tools? Can Strahan stay healthy? These are all valid questions that I am hoping we can find the answers to.
I guess this is going to be a wait and see game in the NFC.

Of course, everything's cyclical. The NFC was dominating the Super Bowl through the 80s and 90s until Denver finally beat the Packers. Now the AFC is the dominating conference. I think the 49ers are an up-and-coming team that I could see winning the Super Bowl in a few years. I don't think the NFC will win a Super Bowl until 2010.

I think an NFC team will win the next Superbowl. And I think that team will come out of the NFC South. Carolina, New Orleans, and Atlanta are all good teams and the one that wins the division will go on to win the Superbowl. Just a hunch.

I don't think the NFC will will a superbowl for a very long time cause the strength of the NFL is in the AFC. Chicago, New Orleans, & Seattle have the best chances presently but each of those teams need fine tuning before they can be a real threat to the AFC. Chicago, wide recievers, New Orleans, defensive backs, Seattle, ??

Chargers, they came into the post season perfectly with a win streak. Any one of their players can win the game, Rivers, Sproles, Weddle, Jackson. They also have the ability to make great plays and come from behind when they need to. For the NFC, probably the Vikings. The Saints have peaked and aren't doing well. The Vikings are very strong overall and will give the teams they play a run for their money.

In about 5 or more years, Yeah. Unless the Saints, Panthers, or Giants do it before that.
Other teams like the bears, wont win it with that Qb that isnt worth mention.
The Westernerst Cowboys Cant stop the Pass and Cant really run against good teams. Plus, that Qb fumbles too much, and everytime I see a headline, he is running scared for his life.

Yes the NFC will eventually win another one. Perhaps in a few years we will be wondering that about the AFC though. Right now all the talent is going to the AFC.

Yes, the NFC will win another Super Bowl. It mau not be next year or the year after tha, but I would be willing to bet that they win one in the next five years.

If you remember right, the NFC was the more dominant one of the two for years. It will swing around. The Seahawks were the better team in SB 40. they got screwed.
