Paddy the Irishman died in a fire and was burnt pretty badly so the
Morgue needed someone to identify the body.
His two best friends, Seamus and Sean (also Irishmen), were sent for.
Seamus went in and the mortician pulled back the sheet.

Seamus said "Yep, he's burnt pretty bad. Roll him over".
So the mortician rolled him over.
Seamus looked and said "Nope, it aint Paddy".

The mortician thought that was rather strange and then he brought Sean
in to identify the body.
Sean took a look at him and said, "Yup, he's burnt real bad, roll him
over.
The mortician rolled him over and Sean looked down and said, "No, it
ain't Paddy".

The mortician asked, "How can you tell?"
Sean said, "Well, Paddy had two a*seholes."
"What............., he had two a*seholes???" said the mortician.
"Yup, everyone knew he had two ar*eholes. Every time we went into town,
folks would say, 'Here comes Paddy with them two ar*eholes....'"

One night, a torrential rain soaked South Louisiana; the next morning the resulting floodwaters came up about 6 feet into most of the homes there.

Mrs. Boudreaux was sitting on her roof with her neighbour, Mrs. Thibodaux, waiting for help to come.

Mrs. Thibodaux noticed a lone baseball cap floating near the house. Then she saw it float far out into the front yard, then float all the way back to the house; it kept floating away from the house, then back in.

Her curiosity got the best of her, so she asked Mrs. Boudreaux, "Do you see that baseball cap floating away from the house, then back again?"

Mrs. Boudreaux said, "Oh yes, that's my husband; I told him he was going to cut the grass today come Hell or high water!"

I've been in a grumpy mood today. I called a friend that I'm meeting to attend a play with later this afternoon and she reminded me of a phrase I know of but had temporarily forgotten and that is to " Teach People How To Treat You '.

To make others aware, when necessary, of what our own personal boundries are. Personal boundries of what is o.k. or not o.k. in my own Carol world.

Have you done this ? To teach people how to treat you ? To value your own self and personal environment and clarify with others what is or not is fine while being in your own personal space?

My friend also said it is my ' birth right ' as a soul to be treated as a person of value.

Do you take the book of Genesis literally? How old is the world?
Or do you see Genesis as an allegory?
I have no problem seeing evolution as the handiwork of God. And it in no way interferes with my belief in Christ, in His full, pysical, bodily ressurection.

My friend Mia knelt at the Baptist preacher's alter one glorious day and did the special incantation, and said halleluja to Jesus; and now she is saved, and her seat in Heaven is guaranteed.

But her mother was not so lucky -- she was occupied in a scientific career, inculcated in godless science; and so could not admit such things as Jesus got up after being dead three days, and two weeks later rose into the sky... Mia's mother couldn't quite accept such feats of Jesus, and now she is burning and rotting in Hell forever.
Question:

Then will God wipe away every care, so Mia when she dies can enjoy Heaven without thinking about her mother in Hell?

I can't stand that show. It's funny in some cases but other's it's just down right annoying. I can't stand it that he's such a coward and a pushover toward his wife. That would turn me off if my man was like that. If you like the show then that's fine but if you don't then tell me what annoys you the most about it?
