Do you mix pantheons? If so, why? If not, why not?

No, I never do. I only worship the Norse Gods and Goddesses. Asatru is not an eclectic spiritual movement, for once you take it our of its framework and start to add things from other religions you cease to have Asatru and begin to have some different entity entirely.

The early Israelites sure did. YHVH is a mixture of gods from the Canaanite pantheon. The earliest parts of the Old Testament are polytheistic and borrowed from the surrounding Canaanite religion. The translators of the Hebrew Bible have done their best to cover that fact up.

At this point in time, what pantheon is pure? Indo-European pantheons all share/borrow from one another to some extent. They have the same origins after all.

No, I follow only The Gods of my religion, although of course I am respectful of all Gods, however I have a special relationship The Gods and worship them everyday. I am not just polytheist, as that just describes my believing in Gods as opposed to one God. I am religious, although I believe that The Gods of ancient Egypt, Greece etc. are every bit as real. Its not a matter of belief but a matter of truth.

I don't, because to me it's a clash of energies, and I'm not comfortable doing it. When I work with specific aspects of the God and Goddess, I draw from the Greek pantheon.
