I took apart a few electronic devices and I noticed that the electromagnet in them (or solonoid) had bare copper wire wrapped around an insulated metal. Are electromagnets more effective if the wire wrapped around isnt insulated? If so, does the core need to be insulated? If I had made an electromagnet using a stell nail and wire, the nail would become the magnet. Some electromagnets I have looked at have the metal part not just as the core, but also on the sides of the magnet, why?

my wife just pregnant about 4 to 6 weeks, at the fifth month the embryo heart start with slow beating and after 2 week the heart stop beating. what happen? when the heart is stop beating is that mean the embryo die inside? is there a chance for that unborn baby heart to beat again?

I have been dating this guy, he is like the one person in all my life who I have really felt like he is "the one", like that spark you get when it feels SO right. Well I knew from the very first time I laid eyes on him that I wanted to spend my life with him, he is the only person I know who can make me laugh the way he does, and no one else makes me happier. So he told me that he wont lie to me or keep anything from me, and then he said that he is HIV-Positive as of Nov. 2006. I dont know what to do, I am HIV-Negative, but I really love him a lot, he is the only man I have ever wanted to give my whole heart to. PLEASE help me! PLEASE, and dont be mean to me either (I dont wanna hear I bunch of hate right now), I hurt a lot and dont need that to add to it. Thank you for any help you can give, and I will just keep on praying!

I got fired based on made up facts. The real reasons were 1) my direct boss jeanous that each of my work was much better his and I am so talented; 2) An upper manager hit on me, but he doesn't know how to get into my comfort zone; 3) A coworker was jealous me and all ways tried to get me in trouble and even cheat...I am too nice and too shy to even fight back; Another stupid upper manager treating her like hero and yelling at me publicly and nastly. My boss always helping the nasty mean girl to looks good and made me looks bad and interpreted everything in a wrong way. I fallen into a terrible depression. I had problem straight up my back, I felt sick. I always wanted to cry underneath my skin. I was not able to lift myself up and get over all the technical problem as I used to be. People still call my work great, but I know it isn't perfect or timely as it should be. I was looking for a job, before I land one, they fired me of accused incident of sleep on job even I denied.
