Maybe it is something you chant in Yoga??Though it is sometimes spelt "aum".
Just a thought.....

OM [abbr.] = Order Of Merit , according to Oxford dictionary..

In Arabic:

Om = Mother

By the way, the unit of electrical resistance is "ohm" not om according to the international system of units of measurements :)

"om" in Albanian is the measure unit for the electrical resistance
