HELLO,
NEVER GIVE ANYONE YOUR BANK INFO, OR ANY PERSONAL NUMBERS, PASSWORDS ETC.
I have received emails that looked 100% legit from my own credit card companies asking for account info. Because I was taught not to give anything out I did not and checked first with the companies. They were fake and would have ruined my credit if they received my password ONLY.
Remember this: If it looks just too good to be true, its a scam!
nobody gives you anything and you cannot win a prize if you do not enter, they dont just pick you.

Yes, there is a risk in giving any financial information in order to claim a prize. One risk is they will charge your account a shipping and handling fee. Another risk is that the company will bill other things to your account that you'll never receive.

Absolutely, Never, ever give your bank account number for a prize claim. If someone is giving you a prize, they will give you a check or cash.

I would be very careful giving your bank details to anyone, especially someone claiming to be going to give you money. Request the prize money in the form of a cheque or bank cheque and get it send to you via your solicitor.
May sound totally paranoid but it is better safe than sorry.

You should be very careful when giving personal information. Why is your bank account number needed? If it is to wire money to you ask for a cashiers check or money order instead. For the limited information that you provided, it sounds like a scam.

Huge risk and no potential gain. A real prize wouldn't require that info. They don't need it to send you a check.
