let's face it....by 15 or 16 most females are no longer "children". they are well on their way through puberty, and may in fact have already reached their sexually mature state. once a woman has her first period, after all, she is capable of giving birth. in many countries around the world (and in fact, in many US states), a woman can get married, consent to sex, and have children at age 15 or 16 (or even younger). So why is it that we call pornography of anyone under 18 "child" pornography.

To me, "children" are something very different than teenagers.
Those who like to see actual child pornography are very sick, because children (it depends on the maturity of the individual in question, but typically I would define children as those under 14 or 15) are not yet sexually mature. Pedophilia is the attraction to PRE-pubescent children. PRE-pubescent. And yet law enforcement and the media seem to brand any one who looks at 15 or 16 year old pornorgaphy as a "pedophile". This is not true

Has anyone any idea how much it costs to leave a car at Gatwick for approx 10 days (July)? I have also been told that you can find hotels near the airport where you buy a room for the night and then they take you to the air port and let you leave your car there for a fraction of the price. Does anyone know of any of these hotels

I was in the hospital this week and my husband took off two days of work (with their permission as paid vacation days). He has been back at work for two days and now they are asking for a doctor's note for me. Can they do that? I don't want to give them any of my personal information and all I kept from the hospital was my discharge instructions. My work brought me flowers and asked if I was ok. His work now wants a note that says that I was allowed to go back to work. Is this a severe invasion of privacy or am I being paranoid?

How come having answered Dr Hilary Jones' question about keeping young net-heads safe, in my "Answered questions" list it says he has 68 answers, but when you click through to the question, it only lists 54? Is this a Y!A security thing, or is the site now just swallowing answers?
Just wondering, as one of the lost 14.

There's this song being aired on MTV a few years ago. It contains the lyrics "tells me you're for me and i'm the one for you" and "i thank you baby". Mmm what else: the music video has the guy lying in desert sand and the girl lying in green grass, and when they come together the grass and the sand swirl around them enveloping them in a heart shape. Drat, visuals are really easier to remember, so please help me! It's quite upbeat for a love song, but a perfect valentine theme nonetheless! Anyone here who knows the song title and artists?

Wee follow up from my earlier "Have you ever heard a cover version of a song that was better than the original?" question. Persoanlly I'd have to say in recent times it's been the Scissor Sisters souless disco evisceration of Pink Floyds Comfortably Numb. Of all time: Paul Young doing Love Will Tear Us Apart will always make me cry - for all the wrong reasons.

Especially he is someone new whom you have met, eg an auditor coming to audit your company. There have been signs, but I am afraid I might misread them.

The first time he saw me, the glance was longer than usual, was intense, like looking right at me. Subsequently, he finds opportunities to talk me,eg.walking to my place when he is using the xerox machine, chatting along the aisle.

I feel there could be something, but I am afraid to be wrong.

I remember watching cable in the late 1970's...yet today even with progess cable television is still not available in all areas, like rural areas. I understand that there is Dish Network and such available But why should we have to buy that when cable access is 5 miles down the road from us.
