I went to a new church this weekend. I got myself dressed nicely, like what I'd wear to an office. Surprised!! Most of the people there were in jeans- even the women. Like what you'd wear to a ballgame- jeans, leggings, flip-flops, tank tops. One woman even wore her biking shorts-complete with a baseball cap. It was as though they rolled out of bed and grabbed whatever was "comfortable"- as though sitting quietly for 1 hour demanded the utmost in comfort.
I know there's the argument "At least they show up, God doesn't care what they wear" but I always thought we were supposed to offer Christ our best.
What's going on? And do you agree/disagree with dressing for church?

I went on the depo shot last march took it 1 time and havent had a real period since just spotted 2 day beginning of dec. took 3 home preg tests all neg so i went to the doc today she done urine and blood test and both were neg but i still think im preg have all the symptom i have a 3yr old and 2 yr old so i know the feelin Has anybody else ever been thru this?

I went through my boyfriends phone this morning. I know ....a total invasion of privacy, but I had a bad feeling something was going on. I found a text message from his ex, asking him why he keeps driving by her house, and his reply was, i guess i still think of you. I have been with him for 2 years and have gone through his phone before and saw her name/number in his recent calls list, showing 00 minutes of talk time. I didn't get that upset because I figured it was her calling him, by the way the recent calls list doesn't indicate who called who, just that a call was to or from that particular number. I have asked him in the past if he was still in contact with her and he said no. I didn't even ask him about it this morning. I just woke him up after finding the text message and told him if he thinks about her all the time, then he needs to go back to her and that we are done. Did I overreact? Did I do the wrong thing? I'm dumbfounded....

These parents are just hurting their daughter even more. If she can't get a grip over something this small how can she learn to live in the real world. I think they are leaving their daughter very ill equipped for life. The funniest part is now that bad picture is plastered all over the world.

I think I may be pregnant but it's to early to take a pregnancy test. I've just noticed a little sharp pain on my left ovary or tube? It just feels different than any cramping I've ever had. I've just finished ovulating and have never had this kind of little bothersom pain. It comes and goes off and on throughout the day. This is the second day having it.
