Why is it that people who do not make money are jealous of those who do?

There will always be resentment toward those who have something-- be it money, good looks, success, or whatever you choose to plug in here--by those who feel that they are somehow lacking in their fair share of whatever it is. Many people seem to think that if they only had enough money, all their troubles would be over, but they forget that money brings with it problems of its own.

I've never been rich. I don't really want to be rich.

All I want is enough, and enough is really just that. My necessities are covered, and I have sufficient left to be able to contribute to causes that I support. What more do I really need?

I imagine there are some people who do not make money who are jealous of those who do, but there are people, as heretical as it may sound, for whom making money is a sort of side benefit to the work they do. These people find joy in the actual work itself.

People who focus entirely on making money often end up doing things they don't like for the sake of generating revenue. Poor things.

I'm only jealous of rich but selfish people because i feel they don't deserve it and also because the rich keep getting richer lets take for example Bill Gate he's the richest parson on earth but he's still coming up with new things (Microsoft vista) and changing poor people a lot of money for it. so is that fair?

Why do people who make more money look down on those who make less? We are the backbone of society and it is our children who go die serving our nation and to keep your wallets fat.

Good to be jealous because it motivates me to work harder and push harder of what I am capable of rather than sobotage people livelihood and i know there are people doing that.
