a) What equal poistive charges would have to be placed on the earth and on the moon to neutralize their gravitational attraction?
b) Why don't you need to know the lunar distance to solve this problem? c) How many kilograms of hydrogen ions (protons) would be needed to provide the positive charge calculated in a)?

i have only been on here for one night, and already i have seen one that said he had sex with his daughter, don' know if that is true or not, but i know it is wrong. And then there is one who says he is going to kill himself, so i talk with him, and he is 25 and wants to date me, i am only 16! i tell him i can't date him and he goes right on back to saying death is the answer. You know what i have been through this already. i have been molested already in my life, i don't need reminders. It really does a damaged to a girl. I now can't trust a lot of people, but i try to. Hello! I have never made chili in my life. However, there is a chili contest in my town. My brother entered and almost won last year. So, I want to compete with him. I need an AMAZING recipe...but something that's somewhat easy to make. Also, hopefully it won't have a bunch of hard to find, expensive ingredients. i found a bunch of recipes...but they are really complex and expensive.

My 4 year old daughter saw petey when he was hit and was dragged down the block until the car made a left and he was dislodged from the wheel well. It was nasty there were pieces of petey everywhere. Anyway she's devastated and I don't know what to do except maybe buy her a dog. I think a dog would be better and sturdier. What do you think?

That teachers either got a low grade on their degree or chose to teach because they 'couldn't handle' other jobs?

Working as a teacher I have seen several people come from 'the real world' and then quit a little later because they couldn't hack it. Usually they come in very arrogant, assuming that it will be easy, that schools are full of people who failed their degrees, and that they'll be better than us. Then they quit/have a breakdown.

When I worked in the city, people who couldn't hack it didn't choose to teach. Many of them had shoddy generic degrees and cried over the tiniest thing, yet would repeatedly say teachers were second-rate/weak/bitter.

The majority of teachers have 2:1 degrees or higher, have worked in the 'real world' for some time, and aren't bitter, faded swots.

Where has this myth come from?
